The Benefit of obtaining our Complete Case Review
Our team of experienced Medical Directors disclose and discuss all the relevant medical issues of your case, their respective strengths and weaknesses, and who should be a defendant. This ensures your client will fully understand all aspects of your case. If favorable for negligence, you will be able to effectively enter and pursue litigation with everything you need to obtain a favorable settlement or jury award.
Our Complete Case Review is especially helpful when the medical issues of your case are diverse or complex, or if there is more than one potential defendant. This report, prepared by one of our Board Certified Medical Directors is comprehensive, detailed and not discoverable.
Our Medical Directors do not serve as Expert Witnesses and do not testify (See "Expert Witness Services."). Our Complete Case reviews are unsigned, confidential, attorney work product privileged reports. These reports are available in approximately 3-6 weeks. Expedited service is also available. For example, one of our Medical Director is a Board Certified General Surgeon, Board Certified Senior Cardiovascular Surgeon, Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon, Trauma Surgeon and a Surgical Critical Care Medicine Specialist who is also on a State Medical Board.
You and your clients need to know:
- Is there a medical malpractice case (expressed in terms my client can understand)?
- Who are the potential tortfeasors?
- What was the cause of the injury and was it from any departure from the accepted standards of care?
- What are all the potential defenses, how strong are they, and how do you overcome each of them?
- What are any long-term and future damages that can be causally connected to the negligence?
- What specific medical experts are needed?
Our Promise To You And Your Clients
We will fully inform you about:
- The details of any negligence fully explained in terms you can understand in our Complete Case Review;
- Whether or not the injury was caused by negligence;
- The potential future damages that flow from the initial negligent injury; and
- All the potential defendants;
Whether or not we first perform our thorough Complete Case Review written report and suggest needed Medical Experts, we will assist you in obtaining all needed Medical Experts who are willing to review the case, prepare a signed written report, give Expert deposition testimony, and appear at trial for your client if given adequate notice and fair pre-payment.
Once you know the answer to all of these questions, then you can comfortably allocate your time and resources in pursuit of the “adequate reward” (quoting Melvin Belli).

This Complete Case Review will:
- Discuss all the medical issues of the case, and when positive:
- Discuss in detail any deviations from the standard of care;
- Name each potential defendant doctor, hospital and nurse, and describe in depth what role each played in the negligence;
- Document all the damages: The immediate consequences from the negligent act(s), as well as all potential future damages;
- Recommend appropriate and needed Medical Experts by specialty field (which we also can supply at your request).
Based on our years of expertise in analyzing medical records, we often find critical missing pages. These are usually “smoking guns”. Also we find altered records. These are “gold mines” for you to pursue. This service is included within each of our Complete Case Reviews at no extra charge.
AME has thousands of medical experts to support areas of negligence in their respective specialties. If you try to get an opinion from any expert in one field of specialization without knowing what your entire case is about, you risk setting yourself and your client up for a negative report and denying them their day in court. Without a prior objective opinion, you could be fishing in “uncharted waters.” Furthermore, there are thousands of alleged “experts” that unfortunately have their biases and lack understanding of the legal definition of medical malpractice. Buying opinions from these physicians is an expensive and dangerous proposition.
However, allowing us to screen out the cases in which there is no negligence or questionable causation will allow you to satisfy those upset patients and not turn them into angry clients.
For the cases that are worth your attention, “positive cases” AME can have your records reviewed by the appropriate unbiased expert(s) who will testify in support of their opinions.
We offer flat rate fees and the lowest rates.
For the convenience of your billing and accounting records, AME accepts all major credit cards:

** If missing documents are requested to complete the review, or sent to AME after the review of your case has begun, or if additional work is requested, hourly rates will be applied and billed (Complete Case Review $400 per hour and Expert Witness Reports rates are based on the Medical Expert's fee schedule). In many cases, the items for review will be billed and payment must be received prior to the review of the materials. In some cases, as with additional work or research requested, the billing may be after the work is complete. The time (hours for review) for additional documents to be reviewed will be based on an approximate time frame from our Director at a minimum of 1 hour. If the time to review the documents exceeds the approximate time, payment for the additional time will be required prior to releasing the report(s) to the Attorney.
