Failure to Diagnose Expert Witness

If a physician fails to diagnose a patient’s illness, it is a type of preventable medical error. It is unfortunate because most diseases and conditions are best when found and treated immediately. Therefore, should a health care professional miss a patient’s symptoms, he or she is at fault because the patient’s chances of survival decrease. Doctors must remain vigilant at all times to avoid missing diagnoses.
