Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Expert Witness

Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) is a pattern of mental and physical defects that develops in an unborn baby as a result of the pregnant mother consuming excessive alcohol. Ingestion of alcohol does not always cause FAS, but no amount of alcohol whatsoever has been proven safe during pregnancy. Alcohol stunts fetal growth, creating a range of cognitive and functional disabilities.
