Geriatric cardiologists treat elderly patients with heart conditions. They can be surgical or medical professionals and they treat an array of heart conditions and disorders. Since their patients are elderly, surgeries and procedures can be more risky than with younger patients; however, skilled cardiologists should be able to control the risks in order to save patients’ lives.
