Emphysema Expert Witness

Emphysema is a progressive lung disease in which the primary symptom is shortness of breath. Emphysema patients suffer from destroyed lung tissue. It is one of the diseases in a group referred to as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Emphysema is typically caused by smoking, although it has been known to occur in nonsmokers.
