Hemophilia is a condition in which a patient’s body cannot regulate blood clotting; therefore, the patient often has severe internal bleeding and may suffer from heavy bruising, frequent nose bleeds, and an inability for wounds to close and heal naturally. It is more likely to occur in males, and can be highly dangerous or even fatal.
